This article is in response to the many questions about international sponsoring in Ultimate Solutions. It should be noted in the beginning that to build a network requires skill and patience. Most people learn the skills one step at a time and start at home before moving the business to other cities and then to foreign countries.
The advantage of the foreign market is obvious due to the large numbers involved worldwide. We do have a product that is truly of value to the world, World Wide Web advertising. The disadvantages are that advertising and the newsletter are the only products that foreign members can use easily.
The second advantage of Ultimate Solutions is the income opportunity. The income opportunity is very restricted at present for foreign subscribers. Technically all foreign subscribers are customers only. They do not own the income rights of the GRID position. The position is owned by the United States sponsor who is also responsible for all United State taxes due to income at that position. The opportunity for the foreign subscriber rests completely on total compliance with all MLM laws in the foreign country. The opportunity for foreign subscribers is to position themselves in the GRID with their own referrals while waiting for legal compliance.
Once Ultimate Solutions complies with all laws in the foreign country, all Letters of Intent signed with subscribers in that country will be invoked. Transfer of ownership of the GRID position from the United States sponsor to the foreign subscriber will be done after completion of a new Ultimate Solutions Subscription Application and Agreement. This new Agreement is used to update the file and get signatures agreeing to comply with all the laws of the new country. There will be additional postage requirements for subscribers in the new countries once Ultimate Solutions opens that country.
The following steps are needed to sponsor a foreign subscriber:
1. The United States Sponsor fills out the Subscription Agreement using the United States Sponsor name, address and phone number. This is required since all checks and paperwork due this GRID position are mailed to the United States Sponsor.
2. The foreign subscriber signs and dates the customer signature since the foreign subscriber is the true customer. The foreign customer submits their Ad for placement on their Home Page.
3. The United States Sponsor fills in the IC sponsor name and number.
4. Payment is made by the foreign subscriber in United States Dollars payable to Ultimate Solutions.
5. The United States Sponsor fills out the primary IC name and tax ID for the U.S.
6. The foreign subscriber fills out the CO-IC name and tax ID number for their country.
7. Checks are made payable to the IC which is the United States Sponsor.
8. The United States Sponsor signs and dates the application as the IC.
9. The foreign subscriber signs and dates the application as the CO-IC.
10. The Letter of Intent should be copied on the back of the application and filled out by the United States Sponsor and the foreign subscriber.
Once the above procedures have been followed a new Independent Consultant ID number will be assigned to the United States sponsor and a new GRID position established. This joint position is owned by the foreign subscriber as the Customer and by the United States sponsor as the IC. If the foreign subscriber wants to refer someone into the GRID they will use the joint number assigned and use the United States Sponsor name as the sponsor. This method will keep referrals in the correct GRID position.
Remember the foreign subscriber is the Customer with all rights to the Ad and services and the Unites States sponsor is the IC with all rights to all commissions. Any arrangements between the foreign subscriber and the Unites States sponsor are between themselves.
I do not mean to discourage anyone from foreign sponsorship; however, there is a rule I personally use when sponsoring. Sign up individuals that you want to be with the rest of your life. If you sign up someone just for the $1.50 you are doing yourself and the individual an injustice. Sponsoring means to support. Plan on spending quality time with your immediate downline no matter where they are in your life or in the world.
